  2. I can't wait to do my first piece of homework for other people to see. Being in year 5 is great so far although the work is challenging I still try my best.

  3. Leonardo Da Vinci

Leonardo Da Vinci was one of the greatest minds of the Italian Renaissance, he was a painter, an inventor, scientist, engineer and a sculptor. He was called "Renaissance man".

One of the most famous paintings he ever did was the Mona Lisa which is still admired today. It took him an incredible 4 years for him to paint and along time to perfect the half smile. It was sadly stolen in 1911.He also painted the Last Supper, the scene is about Jesus with his despises before the got crucified, Aldous Huxley called it "the saddest work of art".

He was also famous for his inventions like the aeroplane. Before doctors had even been invented he had guessed what the skull had looked like and it was really similar. He had designed flying machines, water works, work tools, bicycles and the helicopter.
