Why do you think Queen Elizabeth I had 'Good Queen Bess' as a nickname?
How many reasons can you find?

  1. The nicknames of Elizabeth I tell us that she was one our most celebrated monarchs. Elizabeth I was called Good Queen Bess because when she was first born she was born wealthy rich. When she became Queen the Tidors called the Queen Good Queen and the Tudors also blessed her. So that's why Queen Elizabeth I nickname was 'Good Queen Bess'

  3. They called queen Elizabeth I good queen bess because they thought it meant she was brave and had a good sense of humor. They also called hey good virgin because she was never married. Queen Elizabeth I mother was called her good queen bess because it was a shorter way of saying her name.
